这尊观音菩萨(Avalokiteshvara,慈悲菩萨)像立于一块底板之上,该底板原本连接着莲花底座。其额头有第三眼,眼睛嵌银,嘴唇嵌铜。头戴三叶冠,佩戴众多饰物,包括从左肩垂下的梵线,以及颈部垂至脚踝的长花蔓(vanamala)。他袒胸赤足,身着边缘带装饰的素面缠腰布。左手持一枝盛开的莲花,莲茎修长。背面处理较为粗糙,留有多个用于支撑的浇铸冒口。

一件风格与此可资比较的文殊师利(Mañjuśrī)像藏于纽约亚洲协会博物馆(Asia Society Museum, New York,馆藏号1979.045)。
