A silver-inlaid bronze figure of Padmapani
Northeastern India, Pala period, 11th/12th century

Seated in lalitasana on a double-lotus base over a stepped plinth, the right hand in varadamudra with a lotus stem in the left, clad in a dhoti and adorned with silver-inlaid jewelry, a pair of lotuses blossoming at the shoulders, the face with serene downcast expression and inlaid with silver, a pair of attendant figures resting on diminutive lotus blossoms, on either side, all backed by an aureole with flaming border, open latticework, and a foliate nimbus, with a pair of kneeling devotees at the base

呈游戏坐（lalitasana）于覆仰莲座之上，莲座下方为叠涩式台基。右手结施与印（varadamudra），左手持莲花茎。身着裙袍（dhoti），佩戴嵌银珠宝。双肩两侧各有一朵盛开的莲花。面容神情宁静低垂，双目嵌银。两侧各有一尊胁侍像安坐于小型莲花之上。身后为火焰边饰的举身光（aureole），内有镂空花格及花叶形头光（nimbus）。莲座前方两侧各有一尊跪拜的供养人像。
