Yoryu-kannon and Zenzai-doji (Sudhana Sresthidaraka) are embroidered, with Priest Yuji Zhihui's inscription (dated 1295) in the upper portion of the piece. This piece's date of production is important for comparison of art between different periods. Chinese embroidery became less sophisticated in the Yuan Dynasty in comparison with embroidery from earlier dynasties, but this piece is very refined. Especially outstanding are the tortoise-shell patterned and hemp-leaves patterned stitches of gold threads, which cover the body of the Kannon. The fact that there are only few extant calligraphic works of Priest Yuji Zhihui makes this piece all the more important.

本幅刺绣有观音与善财童子，画幅上方有 Yuji Zhihui 禅师的题赞，纪年为元贞元年（1295年）。此作的制作年代对于不同时期的艺术比较研究具有重要意义。相较于前代，元代的中国刺绣工艺整体趋于粗简，然此作品却极为精妙。尤以观音身上满绣的龟甲纹与麻叶纹金线针法最为出色。此外，由于 Yuji Zhihui 禅师传世墨迹甚为稀少，亦使本作更显珍贵。
